We look forward to speaking with you. This guide will help you prepare for our conversation.
Our goal is to be a helpful resource for you. We will:
Original Medicare has two parts, but each has costs to be aware of.
Covers hospital stays, but you pay a $1,676 deductible each time you're admitted.
Covers doctor visits, but you pay a $257 deductible, then 20% of all costs with no limit.
To cover the gaps, you'll choose one of these two options.
A private plan that pays for the costs Original Medicare doesn't. You have a monthly premium but the freedom to see any doctor who accepts Medicare.
A private plan that replaces Original Medicare, often with a low premium. You use a network of doctors and pay copays for services.
Even with these plans, major costs can arise from critical illnesses or long-term nursing care (Medicare only covers the first 100 days). We'll discuss how to protect yourself from these "asset eaters" on our call.
